Nary a drop of the world’s oceans are without our fingerprints of global warming.

In the Feb. 15 issue of Science,  an international team of researchers presented findings of a study that showed how a multitude of human activities affect the oceans by drilling data from satellite imagery down to 4-square kilometers.

The paper was presented at the AAAS annual meeting in Boston.

Prof. John Bruno and student Elizabeth Selig from UNC Chapel Hill contributed temperature data and information about the affects on the world’s coral reefs.

Press release.
